Performing Arts Residencies support contemporary theater and dance in Central Europe by providing opportunities to host artists and companies from/in V4 countries.

Performing Arts residencies support innovation, experiment, and creativity in the performing arts – new drama, contemporary dance, new circus, physical theatre, visual theater, alternative theater, performance art. The program is not suitable for stone theaters, already developed performances, or theater festivals.

Financial aid is intended for artists and the host organization:

€ 4,000 for an individual residence (1-2 artists): € 1,500 for a host organization / € 2,500 for an artist
€ 8,000 per group residence (3 or more artists): € 2,500 for the host organization / € 5,500 for the art group.

Applications are accepted from individual artists (subject to citizenship in one of the V4 countries and from the age of 18 years) and art groups (3 and more members, all group members must come from a country other than that in which they intend to carry out their residency).

Each applicant may be granted in a given year only once in the other V4 countries than the country in which is the applicant's nationality or residence.
