OPEN CALL / MALÁ INVENTURA 2020

18th year of the festival Malá inventura will take place from 20 to 28 February 2020 in Prague. The main festival programme will present a selection of the best new theatre performances from the previous year.

This call is open to projects that were made between 1/12/2018 - 30/11/2019 and fit into one of the following three categories:

• MIGRATORY BIRDS / new theatre projects without their own permanent building for rehearsing, which were made and are showed in Prague.
• REGION / new theatre projects that were made and are showed in the Czech regions.
• RESIDENTS / new theatre projects of both foreign artists acting in the Czech Republic and Czech artists acting abroad. And also international co-production projects showed in the Czech Republic.

The application must have the following composition:
• basic information about the applicant
• information about the project (project name, record, summary, art team, etc.)
• technical requirements
• other documents (short CV, project overview, pictures)

Please, send the applications by 31/10/2019 (after this day, the applications shall not be accepted!)
(projects with premiere from 1 - 30/11/2019 should send only an application with a description of the project, premiere date and place. Additional materials - photo, record - should be delivered after the premiere, no later than 1/12/2019)
