NEW BLOOD ON STAGE - YOUNG ARTISTS PROGRAMME

New Blood on Stage is a programme supporting young artists, new artist groups and art school graduates (within 3 years of graduation) working in the field of new theatre. The programme is particularly suitable for those artists and artistic groups who want to continue to work intensively on its own research and development in the future. Open call is announced by NGO Nová síť every year in early autumn.

The Nová síť offers selected artists in 2022 (according to the organization's current capabilities and the participant's interest):

one-year mentoring in the field of development according to own needs, especially in the field of grant literacy, production, networking, promotion and branding, or dramaturgy in the form of personal consultations, seminars and workshops. presentation of the finished project in the Czech Republic, or at the Malá inventura festival in Prague, Kuks, Jičín, Jihlava, České Budějovice or Karlovy Vary support for the creation of a new project (e.g. by providing an artist residency) other specific support according to the current needs of the subscriber and the capabilities of the Nová síť
In 2022 we support the following artists and ensembles:

FRAS / Nová síť supported the presentation of both projects at the Malá inventura festival in Prague and is planning further presentations, especially in the regions of the Czech Republic. FRAS is very actively involved in the campaign to help Ukrainian refugees. They have created a version of their production Behind the Door in Ukrainian and are performing this performance entirely without remuneration. In addition, FRAS will receive support in the form of a residency at the Sladovna in Písek.
Averze_ / Nová síť will support Averze_ in the creation of a new project by providing an artist residency at the DIOD theatre in Jihlava.
Aldente Theatre / Nová síť provides Aldente Theatre with year-round coaching and consultation, focusing on branding, media image, audience relations and finance. In addition, the New Network assists in arranging tours throughout the regions of the country.
Natálie Podešvová / Through seminars and consultations, Natálie receives training in operational and administrative issues necessary for her independent functioning as a freelance artist. Furthermore, Nová síť works with Natalia to support her in orientation on the scene in Prague, but especially in the regions of the Czech Republic, assists her in establishing contacts and new collaborations and supports Natalia in the creation of a new project.

The programme is implemented by NGO Nová síť with the financial support of Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the Prague City Hall.
